W.E.B. Du Bois (William Edward Burghardt Du Bois) - Activist, Journalist
Born: February 23rd, 1868
Died: August 27th, 1963
W.E.B. Du Bois was one of the founding fathers of the Civil Rights Movement and in 1909 he co-founded the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).

- W.E.B. Du Bois became the first African-American to graduate from Harvard University in 1895.
- Du Bois was of mixed raced, but considered himself a "mulatto".
