Jackie Robinson was first black man to play major league baseball, also becoming the first black Rookie of the Year in 1947 and the first black National League MVP in 1949.

On May 8th, 1950, Jackie Robinson was the first African-American to be on the cover of Life magazine.

But Robinson was more than a phenomenal baseball player, he was also extremely charming and suave; a real dapper dandy.
