BHM Stylin': Alice Walker

Alice Walker is a well known author, civil and women's rights activist. Walker and I both share February 9th as a birthday, and that is why I am featuring her for the 9th day of BHM Stylin'.

Walker wrote the famous novel The Color Purple, which turned into a huge motion picture starring Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg.

But the one thing I love about Alice Walker, besides being an amazing writer and feminist, is her dreadlocks!
