Richard Wright - Author, Journalist, Poet
Born: September 4th, 1908
Died: November 28th, 1960

Richard Wright was one of the most controversial Race writers of the 20th century. He is most famous for his books Native Son and Black Boy, both novels about the many difficulties African-Americans faced growing up in the 1930s and 1940s.
