BHM Stylin': Nina Simone

Today is the birthday of the late, great and beautiful, Nina Simone. Simone was more than just a singer because the majority of her music were inspired by the mistreatment and inequality of the Black community during the 1950's and 60's.

Simone was a powerful Black women, with a soul and heart like no other. Personally, I am quite grateful for her existence because she has helped us as a people come so far. Her activism will forever be cherished, as well as her talents.
